This is a wonderful meal for a crowd or an intimate dinner or two. It’s easy and surprisingly delicious. I used a Pillsbury pizza dough www.pillsbury.com or Publix www.publix.comhas a good pizza dough or go crazy and make your own. Use your favorite sauce or pizza sauce. These are things I usually keep in the house.
1 Package of Pillsbury Pizza Dough
1 cup of jar marinara sauce
2 cups of mozzarella
3 small tomatoes sliced
6 slices of cooked bacon cut in squares
2 chopped green onions
½ head of lettuce shredded
½ cup of mayo, the squeeze bottle is perfect for this
Seasoning; McCormick rotisserie chicken seasoning, kosher salt, pepper
2 tablespoons Olive oil
Preheat oven to 425 degrees and pour olive oil on pizza pan and roll out dough and place on pan. Spread your sauce all over pizza, our family like’s sauce so I used extra. Throw your cheese on top and then place sliced tomatoes on top of cheese, season your tomatoes. I cook my bacon ¾ of the way through and place on pizza. Place in oven and cook for 15 minutes and check on it. I cooked mine another 10 minutes because I wanted a crisp crust. Pull pizza out and sprinkle with green onions. Wait five minutes before slicing. Plate pizza and sprinkle with lettuce and squeeze mayonnaise on top. I know it sounds weird but it is delicious. This dinner will be on my appetizer menu at Gold Coast Event Services www.goldcoasteventservices.com Delicious!
