Hot and Creamy Artichoke on Crostini Beach Wedding Appetizer

Just say yum or some of our guests at an all-inclusive wedding package said, "This stuff is like crack!'


One of our favorite recipes from some of our Navarre Beach Weddings. Rave reviews from Guests about how delicious, the wedding food was. Serve as an appetizer during photo time. Ingredients:

  • 1 Large jar of Artichokes in water (Samsclub.com recommended)

  • 2 packages of Philadelphia cream cheese

  • 1 cup of mayonnaise (Hellmann's or Best Foods recommended) h https://www.hellmanns.com

  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped and minced

  • 1 cup of parmesan cheese, grated, plus extra for topping

  • 1/2 teaspoon or more of Franks Red Hot Sauce

  • Salt (to taste, considering the saltiness of parmesan)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon of McCormick Rotisserie seasoning https://www.amazon.com/McCormick-Perfect-Rotisserie-Chicken-Seasoning/

  • 1 Long Baguette, sliced and toasted with olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray oil or Pam on a 9 x 10 pan or stoneware dish.

  2. Prepare Artichokes: Drain and chop the artichokes into small pieces.

  3. Creamy Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, chopped garlic, grated parmesan, and Franks Red Hot Sauce. Mix until well combined.

  4. Seasoning: Add salt (to taste, considering the saltiness of parmesan), pepper, and McCormick Rotisserie seasoning. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.

  5. Incorporate Artichokes: Gently fold

  1. Prepare the Toasted Baguette: Slice the baguette and toast the slices with olive oil until golden brown. Set aside.

  2. Assemble and Bake: Spread the creamy artichoke mixture evenly in the prepared pan or stoneware dish. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown and the dish is set, approximately 25 minutes.

  3. Serve: Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes. Top with additional grated parmesan.

  4. Crostini: Arrange the toasted baguette slices around the artichoke dip.
